**~ Challenge #11 ~**

Alright.... here we go again! : )

Challenge #11............. this is going to be a BLACK & WHITE Challenge.......... only 1 other color will be permitted and it must be minimal! You can create anything you want to!!! A card.... A LO.... An Altered item.... ANYTHING!!!!! : ) You MUST use the word SPRING (letters cut from any Cricut cart)....... and don't forget to add some bling! : )

LOL! I'm still blown-away by all the creativity with Challenge #9! How do you top that?! LOL

IDK for sure but we're gonna try!!!

So here it is.... Challenge #10.... this is really going to be a little different for us but we are going to do a "3-2-1" Challenge! Don't know what that is? Well, keep reading to find out!

We are going to post a sketch for you to follow.... you can do a card or a LO - it's up to you - HOWEVER.... here's where the 3-2-1 comes in.... you will need to use the following..... 3 different patterened papers.... 2 embellishements.... 1 FLOWER cut from the Cricut cart of your choice.... make sense?

**~ Challenge #8 ~**

Good Morning Ladies! : ) I hope this finds you all well and warm! We've had nothing but ICE STORMS here in south-central PA and frankly.... I'm getting a little tired of looking out my window and seeing nothing but ice..... we have very little snow.... but lots of ice!!! And what's worse.... it's been this way since about Christmas!!!! Yes! THREE WEEKS OF ICE!!!! And as if that weren't enough... by mid-week we are to be down into the single-digits with wind and snow and who knows what else!!!!! **Yikes!!**

LOL! Well, enough of the whining! Let's get down to "cRafTiNg"!!!!

Here's the next challenge.... and for those of you sending submissions for Round #3 (and anbody else that wants to play along!) PLEASE feel free to join in...... We are going to use the ever-popular HEART! There are several Cricut carts that have a heart on them... you choose which one you want to use...... This should be a LO (layout)..... A N D ..... you will need to use the following colors... RED... PINK... WHITE.... we also want to see ribbon, buttons/beads, and any other embellisments that you like to use..... HOWEVER ..... here's the "twist"... DO NOT USE GLITTER!!!! I know that is going to be difficult for some but that's part of the "challenge"! LOL

Have fun with this challenge! Don't be afraid to try new things!!!! This will be due on January 24th!

**~ Challenge #7 ~**

Here it is ladies! Challenge #7... I love this LO... and I can't wait to see what you do with it! Here's what you have to do..... use this LO as a format (meaning you can rotate it in any direction to suit your LO)..... USE YOUR CRICUT!!!! Any shape you want....... just use your Cricut!

As always.... HAVE FUN WITH IT!!!! Don't be afraid to try something new (that you don't normally do!) on this Challenge! I pulled this from http://www.pagemaps.com/ so if you go to the November 2008 page maps you'll find it there - along with a completed LO using this sketch...

**~ Challenge #6 ~**

Hi Ladies.... I just realized that I hadn't posted the next challenge?! I'm really sorry..... time has just been getting away from me this last week or so.....

Anyways.... here it is............. Challenge #6............. We are going to go with another "shape" challenge.... we are going to use a SNOWFLAK...... using any Cricut cart you have.... and you can have more than one snowflak.... this should be a LO (layout) - 1 or 2 page.

Make is F*U*N!!!!!!! This will be due on December 27th.....

**~Challenge #5 ~**

With Christmas right around the corner (literally! LOL) I thought we would try to stick to that "theme".... for this Challenge you will need to use a Christmas Tree cut from any Cricut cartridge you have.... this can be done on a card or a LO (1 or 2 page). Embellish anyway you want! : )

Once completed please email a pic (or two) to DesignTeamCreations@yahoo.com and we'll get them posted!

**~Challenge # 3~**

I'm waiting on several to come in but I figured I'd start posting these this afternoon! They are adorable and so easy to make! Too easy actually! I enjoyed making them so much that I ended up making two and didn't stop there!!! LOL When I look at these... it makes me realize the differences in all of our "styles"..... I don't have mine posted yet (as of this original posting) but I know that my mini-album is a lot different than these beauties!


There are going to be a lot of pics in this post but what some of the ladies have done is taken only a few pics of their projects and send them to me.... the rest are going to be on their personal blogs....

**~ Challenge #3 ~**

Good Afternoon Ladies! I hope this finds each of you anxiously awaiting the third challenge!

I've been pondering for weeks now exactly what I wanted this challenge to be.... it's been an interesting thought process to say the least! LOL I have searched tons of web-sites for ideas... and I have found so many things that I just adore... but I was really looking for something "different" that we could challenge you with... it's not a difficult challenge at all... and I'm hoping that you'll really enjoy doing this! I'm excited about seeing what each of you will do with this!

It's going to be a Christmas project of course... using whatever colors you want to use because I know that not everybody does the "red & green" traditional Christmas colors! LOL So here's where it's going to get a little "different"..............

We are going to make Mini Christmas Albums using Jumbo Playing Cards!

You can get these for a very low price at just about anywhere you can buy playing cards at. You can use whatever colors you like as I mentioned earlier... HOWEVER you will need to use either Christmas Cheer... Joys of the Season... or PDDU carts for any Christmas cuts to put on the "pages" of this album (or any other carts you have that you can get Christmas cuts from). I seen this on another site (the credit goes to Patter Cross) and I absolutely fell in love with this idea! You don't have to use the whole deck.... that would take way more than two weeks to do (unless you work all night and all day for several days straight! LOL) but I do want to see atleast 12 "pages" or more... these can be "bound" with a jump-ring... with ribbon... or any other way. I know what you are thinking... 12 pages?! Is she nuts?!..... no... I'm not nuts.... you just have to remember that these are a lot smaller than what you are used to doing and so 12 "pages" for this challenge won't be too hard! ; )

Ok, so here's the basic run-down of what you need to do....

1. Purchase a deck of Jumbo Playing Cards (unless you have a stash somewhere that's missing a few cards!)

2. Alter atleast 12 cards to make a mini Christmas album

3. Use cuts from PDDU... CC... JOTS... or any other cart with Christmas cuts on it

4. Bind your mini-album using a jump-ring... ribbon... or whatever else you have to use

5. BLING!!! BLING!!! BLING!!! I want to see B*L*I*N*G

6. Use brads... eyelets.... anything and everything!

7. Use any colors you choose



I think these would make adorable Christmas gifts! They are so inexpensive too! : )

**~Challenge # 2 ~**

All right! This is the second challenge we've had and I must say... I like what I'm seeing!

For this particular challenge we were required to use the word "BOO!", the colors Black, Orange, Yellow and Purple and we had to use glitter! I know a few of us don't really celebrate "Halloween" and that's OK... I'm one of them that doesn't but it turns out that my LO leans towards Halloween more than I wanted it too... but that's alright, too! LOL

I know we are waiting a few more to come in..... I'll get those posted as soon as I can unless Crystal gets to them before I do.....
